The 400 CID L78 V-8 engine is original, as is the Turbo 350 transmission along with the rear end which is equipped with a 2.41 posi high speed highway gear.

Also note that this Trans Am was ordered with an extremely unique color combination with the Starlight Black exterior along with the “Lombardy” blue cloth interior, which looks and smells like the car was built yesterday. Just above the center floor console, there is a factory installed AM/FM radio and an 8-track tape player.

Back in 1977, the owner searched every Pontiac dealer available in the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Price Edward Island (Canada), determined to find his perfect Trans Am. The passion to have his “ultimate car” led him all the way to a Pontiac dealer in Toronto, Canada, some 950 miles away. Keep in mind that in 1977 there was no internet yet … it is amazing that he located this car!

It truly is impressive that the car has survived the last 44 years in its original, unrestored, unmolested condition with just 21,600 miles on the odometer (that is a 491 miles/year average).

These are just some of the reasons that makes this Trans Am an outstanding opportunity for the serious Pontiac enthusiast or collector.
