Chapter One
From Chevy Dealer to Speed Shop Legend
Founded in 1925 in Chicago, Nickey Chevrolet grew to become one of the largest automobile retailers in the country and the largest high-performance parts shop in the world. During the 1960s, Nickey helped create what is now known as the Super Car.
Offering performance upgrades in Stage I, Stage II, and the wild Stage III configurations, Nickey built a reputation and notoriety during the muscle car wars of the late 1960s and early 1970s. They quickly established themselves as the leader in the high-performance and muscle car world.
1967 · A Defining Moment
First to Drop a 427 Under the Hood
With the debut of the all-new 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, the Nickey team became the first to install a 427 cubic-inch engine under the hood, creating a machine more powerful than anything the factory would offer. By delivering the ultimate muscle cars with unmatched performance, Nickey quickly earned worldwide recognition as the place to buy the most extreme street and track machines.
Chapter Two
A New Generation of Nickey Super Cars
With the rebirth of Nickey Performance and the launch of the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, a whole new generation of Super Cars hit the streets. Using the same formula Nickey pioneered “back in the day,” Nickey Performance now offers state-of-the-art Camaros in Stage I, Stage II, and Stage III configurations.
Each Nickey Camaro is custom-built, serialized, and offered as a Limited Edition, then entered into the Nickey Registry as an Official Certified Nickey Super Car. Your build draws on the latest technology and engineering expertise of the Nickey Performance team, including the people who wrote the original playbook.
